i was quite mad when our Prime Minister asked for Thai media to take side, i.e. either believe in government or with PAD. and, crazily, it was the emergency decree this morning that steal my vital moment to stay with my mom and caused me to suddenly fly from Ubonratchathani to bangkok. i was quite sure there will be no protest at Ubon airport but i was afraid if the airline would strike… and i’ve to reschedule my crucial appointment.

when things get worse, my lovely daddy asked if i want to walk around the demonstration area?

you know it might be a silly idea to many parents to allow their kids participating in such dangerous place; but you should rather know that my dad is not that typical parents type HAHA. well, it was quite fun walking in the area where someone dont want to pass by. the demonstration camp is more or less like a āļ‡āļēāļ™āļ§āļąāļ” [temple fair] for me. many interesting things are sold ranging from normal foods to clappers and underwear. people from all the ways of life meeting there; jeans, sandals, suits, long sleeves shirts, sarongs, loincloth, gown, etc. i was very astonished when my eyes experience, live, something like this

thanks Oat for forwarding me this pic

seems like our PM got an F (or many Fs?) from those basic social science class(es) that he do not understand that government is nothing unless people agree to accept it. people choose someone to stay to be their representatives in the government thus there is no reason why people cant take that guy back when they dont see him proper to sit there…

if anyone wants to read more details i suggest BBC and/or CNN would give you some insight. here are suggested readings ;P

BBC : Bangkok Under State of Emergency

BBC : Q&A >> this article answer all the question about the protest and the situation now

quote from the BBC’s Q&A

“Some of his detractors also accused him of competing with Thailand’s much revered monarch, King Bhumibol, for the heart of the nation - something Mr Thaksin roundly rejects.”

i also agree that this is the reason behind why things go very messy. the issue about the king is extremely delicate. about the unrest, everyone wants to stop it but none stop it. AND ONE THAI GUY DIED YESTERDAY NIGHT. at any rate, be reminded that Thai people are the owner of Thailand.

The parliament is OURS, cheers!

i actually did take some photos from the site, will post it later then ;]

ps. i kind of understand ryohei-sama a bit when it was too busy and too tired to update and write things in long talk. but it was bad feeling for me, who always like to talk LONG.
